I am currently working as a Data Scientist at the Fraunhofer IIS in Nuremberg, Germany in the group for supply chain services. We apply machine learning for image recognition in the context of remote sensing. Together with classical geoinformatics, this allows us tackle real-world problems in industry and research.

In the recent past I have been a researcher in applied mathematics at the University of Bern in the group of Prof Christiane Tretter and before that I have been part of the research project COCONUT: Computational Complexity in Quantum Mechanics.
I have also been involved with the project QUEST: Quantitative Estimates in Spectral Theory and Their Complexity at Cardiff.

Moreover, I am generally keen to explore possible applications of mathematical and computational sciences in daily life. I am always on the lookout for possible projects in which my expertise could be useful.
